OK/BPW Board Meeting was a Major Success
The OK/BPW Board Meeting
held on October 31 thru November 1 was GREAT, thanks to all of the
BPW
officers,
committee chairs, and members who attended and participated.
Your BPW officers could not hold a state meeting without the
support of every one of you.
For those of you who were unable to attend for whatever reason –WE
MISSED YOU.
Maria McFadyen, OK/BPW Foundation Chair gives her report during the
Board Business Session.
Maria encourages everyone to give to the OK/BPW Foundation and the
National Foundation as well.
She also told us that she has a very
special “Foundation Fundraiser” in mind for the State Conference.
Save your money and come prepared to give.
From the hint she gave me it will be FUN.

The Cooks and Bakers Task Force, led by Head
Chef, Glenda DeShazo reported that the cookbooks are here and are
available. Many members
took advantage of the cookbooks being at the board meeting to check
them out to take home for their local to sell.
By the end of the meeting, we had already sold enough
cookbooks to pay the bill in full.
It is all profit from this point.

forms are available online or contact Katherine Zeller at the State
Contract Office.
